What it is
The AI Image Editor is a brush-based editor: select an area of an image with the brush, describe what should be there instead, and the AI repaints just that region. It's the "fix this one thing" tool — change a color, replace an object, clean up a detail — without touching the rest of the image.

What it costs
The AI Image Editor uses AI Credits. The tool shows what a use costs before you run it. See Understanding AI Credits.
How to edit an image
- Open the editor and upload an image (JPEG, JPG, or PNG, up to 10 MB) — or bring one over from the AI Image Generator with one click.
- Brush over the area you want changed. Be generous; a slightly larger selection blends better.
- Describe the change — the app's own example: "Change the shirt to a red hoodie."
- Apply with the Refine button. Only the brushed area is regenerated.
- Repeat or download. Stack edits until the image is right.
Tips & limits
- One change per pass. Small, focused edits beat one giant instruction.
- Just removing something? Photo Object Removal is purpose-built for that and needs no prompt.
- Blurry result? Finish with the Image Upscaler.
Troubleshooting
It says to select an area with the brush
You clicked Refine before brushing over anything, so the app shows Please select an area with the brush before refining. Brush over the area you want changed, then click Refine again.
My image won't upload
The upload box says Supports JPEG, JPG, PNG and files up to 10MB. If a file is refused, make sure it is a JPEG, JPG or PNG of 10 MB or less. Resize or compress it, or save it again as PNG or JPEG, then try again.
It says my request needs more credits
If a run is refused for credits, the app shows Your request need more credits with a Get more button to the Pay as you go page. Add credits there, or see Understanding AI Credits for other ways to get more.
Common questions
Which images can I edit?
JPEG, JPG or PNG files up to 10 MB. You can also bring an image over from the AI Image Generator with one click.
Will it change the rest of my image?
No. Only the brushed area is regenerated; the rest of the image stays as it was.
I only want to remove something. Is there a simpler tool?
Yes. Photo Object Removal is purpose-built for that and needs no prompt.
