Two ways to edit

Opening a template gives you the quick editor — more detailed here than most assets:

Element color — the letterhead's accent color (any hex)
Text color — separate control for the type
Logo Color (Original / Black / White / Custom) and Logo Layout
Items — your contact rows (phone, socials, website, address): edit each value, click the icon to swap it, and toggle any row on or off

How to export

Click Download (top right) and pick your format:

Docx (Microsoft Word) — the letterhead becomes a Word document your team types into
PDF — fixed layout, ready to print or attach

Then either Download the file — or Upload to Google Drive directly, no download-and-reupload needed.

Tips & limits

Export the DOCX once, save it as your team's Word template — every letter after that is just typing.
Toggle off what you don't need — a letterhead with four live contact rows beats one with seven placeholders.
Pair with Business Cards from the same template family for a matching stationery set.

Common questions

Can my team type into the letterhead in Word?
Yes. Export it as Docx (Microsoft Word) and the letterhead becomes a Word document your team types into. Save that file as your team's Word template, and every letter after that is just typing.

Can I save my letterhead straight to Google Drive?
Yes. After you pick DOCX or PDF, choose Upload to Google Drive instead of Download. There is no need to download and re-upload.

Can I hide contact details I don't use?
Yes. In the quick editor's Items list, toggle any row on or off. You can also edit each value and click a row's icon to swap it.

Does editing a letterhead use AI Credits?
No. Editing template assets spends no AI Credits. Downloading final files requires an unlocked brand — see Licensing.
