What it is
Background Remover isolates the subject of an image and removes everything behind it, giving you a clean transparent PNG. It's the workhorse for product shots, profile photos, and compositing images into your designs.

How to remove a background
- Open Background Remover.
- Upload your image (JPEG, JPG, or PNG, up to 10 MB) — product photos, portraits, objects all work.
- Click Remove background. The background is removed automatically — no masking or manual work.
- Download a high-resolution PNG with transparent background, or take it into another tool.
Tips & limits
- Best input = clear subject. Good lighting and separation from the background give the cleanest cut.
- A classic combo: Background Remover → Product Photography to place your product in a generated studio scene.
- Cut-out subjects drop neatly into Brand Kit templates — social posts, ads, flyers.
Troubleshooting
My image won't upload
The upload box says Supports JPEG, JPG, PNG and files up to 10MB. If a file is refused, make sure it is a JPEG, JPG or PNG of 10 MB or less. Resize or compress it, or save it again as PNG or JPEG, then try again.
It says my request needs more credits
If a run is refused for credits, the app shows Your request need more credits with a Get more button to the Pay as you go page. Add credits there, or see Understanding AI Credits for other ways to get more.
