A payment failed or my plan expired
When a renewal payment doesn't go through, your plan expires. Here's how to fix the payment, get your plan back, and what changes meanwhile.
What you'll see
When a renewal payment fails, your plan expires. A bar across the app reads Your plan has expired — the renewal payment didn't go through. It has a Manage payment button.
Account setting → Billing & invoices shows the same news in a box titled Your plan has expired.
Fix it with a new card
- Click Manage payment, or open Account setting → Billing & invoices.
- Click Add payment method and add a card. Zoviz makes it your default for the next renewal attempt.
- Wait while Zoviz checks the renewal. The box reads Checking on your renewal and updates on its own.
- When the payment goes through, you'll see Your plan is active again.
If the check finishes before the payment goes through, the box reads Still waiting on your renewal. A renewal can take up to 2 business days to go through after you add a new card. If it hasn't by then, click Email support, or contact support.
If you add a payment method and see Payment method saved, but the renewal can't be charged to it., add a card to retry the renewal.
If the renewal can't be retried
Sometimes the box says the renewal can't be retried from here. Then click View Plans and pick a plan to subscribe again.
Subscribed in the App Store or Google Play
The store manages that subscription, not Zoviz. Fix the payment in your device's subscription settings for that store.
A store plan can only be reactivated in the store you bought it from. If you try in Zoviz, you may see This plan can only be reactivated from its original purchase channel.
Your card is declined when you pay
When a payment doesn't go through, you may see a message such as Card was declined., Card expired. or Card has insufficient funds.
- Check the card number, expiry date and security code.
- Try another card, or ask your bank why it declined the payment.
- Manage your saved cards in Account setting → Payment methods.
What happens while your plan is expired
The app's cancel screen lists what happens when a plan's access ends: unused plan credits are forfeited, new monthly credits stop, published Link in Bio pages and digital business cards go offline, and designs saved in the cloud lock.
Fix the payment as soon as you can, and download the files you need.
Your plan ended because you canceled
A canceled plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for. Until then, Billing & invoices shows This plan will not renew. Click Reactivate my plan to turn auto-renew back on. Reactivate before your access ends and you keep your credits.
After your access ends, you can subscribe again anytime. See Billing & subscriptions.
When to contact support
Contact support if:
- The renewal still hasn't gone through 2 business days after you added a card.
- Your payment went through, but your plan still shows as expired.
- Zoviz set up your subscription for you. You can't change it in Billing & invoices, so the team changes it for you.
Include your account email, the invoice ID from Account setting → Billing & invoices, and the payment date. See Contact support.
